The last 2 weeks have been jam packed with subcontractors working at the house to finalize everything we need. We are in the home stretch of getting this home completed and ready for move-in. There was an inspection this morning for conditional power to be turned on and it passed. Hopefully, this means we can get AC turned on shortly. We have been burning up while cleaning and working in the house these past few weeks in the blazing hot summer.
The front porch railing went in 2 days ago and this morning the screened porch was finished.
The fireplace mantel surround was installed last week. We still have to install a piece between the tile and the floors. We used a porcelain tile that has a look similar to our master bathroom tile. It has a Calacatta Gold marble look.

Carpet went in to 3 of the bedrooms and the recreation room.
The custom range hood vent was installed into the kitchen. The herringbone pattern subway tile backsplash was artfully installed with an elegant pot filler above the stove. Cabinet hardware in brushed brass finish is in the process of being installed.
The sinks and bath hardware also went in, as well as the master bathroom freestanding tub with elegant freestanding tub filler. In the garage, the garage door and water heater went in, along with an outside faucet and sink for washing up. The exterior lights are all set and ready for power.
