The plumbing, HVAC, and electrical rough-ins were completed. The back door was delivered as well.
There was extra support installed in the master bedroom for the mounting of the TV, as well as the wiring for an electrical outlet so that no cords can be seen.
The range hood in the kitchen will be a custom hood vented to the outside, so you can see below some of that ductwork. Also you can see the wiring loosely placed so that we have wiggle room when deciding exactly where the recessed lights in the kitchen should be installed.
I created a lighting plan for the home which helped guide the decision making during the electrical rough-ins.
During framing, Matt also decided to relocate one of the walls in the rec room in order to allow for more space. In the floorplan, the ceilings are sloped in the rec room for almost the entire room. His choice to move the wall, taking some space from the attic, added some much needed 8 foot ceiling space. We now have room for mounting a TV, without a sloped wall.
