Foundation is complete! We had quite a bit of wet weather lately which caused some delays, but that is all passed us and the foundation has been completed, inspected, and back filled with dirt and gravel.

Here are some photos before the back filling took place. I think the brick turned out so beautifully with that classic, southern old washed look and especially the wide front steps.

And here are some photos after the back fill process, where the garage is smoothed out and nearly ready for concrete. They also did some grading behind the foundation to smooth out the backyard area and make it more suitable for kids running and playing in the green grass that will eventually be planted there.
